Central Community Church was established by Jerry and Littia Wolfe in 1976 with a small group of believers who wanted a spirit-filled evangelical church in the Bridgeport area of Chicago. The church has now been a part of the Bridgeport community over 40 years. During that time many have found a relationship with Jesus Christ and have experienced the wonderful healing and deliverance power of the Holy Spirit. The church has also ministered to many of the physical needs of those who live in the Bridgeport and surrounding areas.

Beliefs
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy

We believe that Jesus Christ was both God and man and is the only one who can reconcile us to God. We believe that Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead to give victory over death and that all who put their faith in Jesus Christ will receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life in heaven.

We believe that the Bible is God's Word and that it is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.
​
We believe that God wants to heal and transform our lives so that we can have a healthy and blessed life.
​
We believe that in order to live holy and fruitful lives that we need to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.
​
We believe in the ordinances of Holy Communion and water baptism.
​
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
